Camping Safari
This 5-day safari adds the Serengeti to the classic northern circuit. Two nights camping in the Serengeti gives you time to explore the vast plains and search for the Big Five, plus Tarangire's elephant herds and a full day on the Ngorongoro Crater floor.
Camp under the African stars at public campsites and the famous Simba Campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. All camping equipment, meals, park fees, and a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with pop-up roof are included.
Depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Giant baobabs line the landscape as you search for elephant herds, giraffes, and zebras. Game drive along the river areas where wildlife gathers. Picnic lunch inside the park. Camp overnight at a public campsite near Tarangire.

Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full game drive on the crater floor. Lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and hippos populate the crater. Potential sighting of the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch inside the crater. Return to Arusha via the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
