Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Enter the park for a full day of game driving through wide savannah dotted with ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen in groups of 50 or more along the Tarangire River. Afternoon game drive as the light softens over the landscape. After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, depart Tarangire and drive towards the Serengeti via the stunning highland scenery of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. A dedicated full day of game viewing across the Serengeti plains. With a packed gourmet lunch, you will have the flexibility to follow the wildlife wherever it leads. Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travel through the cooler highland landscapes to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day of game driving on the crater floor. The crater is home to approximately 25,000 large animals including lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend and drive back to Arusha (approximately 3.5 hours). Drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
